Gold Coast Railroad Museum

12450 SW 152nd St, Miami, FL 33177

The Gold Coast Railroad Museum, a fun and unique venue for weddings and social events, was founded in 1956. The museum was built on the former Naval Air Station Richmond (NASR). With over three miles of tracks, the old base was an ideal place to build a railroad museum.

The Museum's plaza area, main display shed, and several air-conditioned lounge cars are available for meetings, weddings, and other events.

The railroad museum is not just a collection of trains, however. It is about families, and community, as well as an interactive learning environment. On its 50 acres of historic property, the Museum provides train rides and hosts increasing numbers of weddings, receptions, and social gatherings.

Gold Coast Railroad Museum, adjacent to Zoo Miami, is a great place to host your wedding or event. The museum promotes engineering marvels and houses over 30 historic trains, while it transports you through railroad history with the use of artifacts, movies, interactive displays, and railroading materials.
